How to Handle the System Restore FeatureNote: If you are running either WinXP or WinMe, it is recommended that you turn off the System Restore feature temporarily before you remove a virus. If a virus is embedded in the System Restore folder, your virus software won't be able to remove it. If you should go back to a previous System Restore point, you could re-infect your computer. Your virus software may continue to detect a virus in the System Restore folder even though you have removed the threat.
