Slow, but it should help when Tom Lembke returns.
A/V Lab:
Pinnacle 10 & Dazzle
have been installed. We also purchased VHS to DVD recorder. Jim
Boynton donated Spin-It-Again software for the audio computer.
Alternative uses
of Center:
Socrates Cafe scheduled for Wednesday, October 24.
Basics & Web 2.0
Initiative: Doc
continues to teach Windows and Internet basics during the Novice classes.
Fun Stuff CD:
Dale Atchison still working on CDs
Publicity Luncheon (Sep 27):
Lynne, Millie, Doc, Suzy Maxon, and Marie-Dominique Alexandre all attended.
We received some excellent tips and contacts for getting publicity, and shared
that with the Publicity Committee.
Senior Health Fair (Oct 4):
I believe we will get a few members
from this. We gave away a free membership in TBCS also.
FACUG Conference (Oct 6):
Jim Boynton, Ron Kalmin, Carol King, Joel Mikesell, and Doc represented TBCS.
These conferences always stimulate a few ideas worth pursuing.
Open House (Oct 27):
Food: Lynne is going to do it.
Suzanne Gregoire will supervise the volunteers during the event.

Fall Conference 2008:
Doc asked
and received a Vote of Confidence for TBCS to host the conference.

Lynne Robertson, Chuck Vroman, & Pete Summers.
Directors staying on
BoD are: Jim Boynton, Frank Bucca, Lynne
Robertson, and Howard Smith (Van Adams replacement).
Directors whose term expires: Stan Ashbrook, Dave
Dockery, Vern Goheen, Millie Jones, & Carol King.
- Our
$10,000 CD Matures.
Treasurer
Millie Jones suggested we put $5000 in our checking account (we have been
spending more money as of late and need a little more cash flow). We
returned the remaining $5,000 to a CD.
