  1. Resource Center: We are going to look more agressively for volunteers to help us keep our environment a little cleaner.
  2. Committees: We also need to be more agressive to get publicity people.
  3. Seminars: Jan McNulty, Jim Boynton, June Hollister, and Stan Ashbrook continue to teach.
  4. Website Updates: Dick Servis is working on advertising for our websites.  Webmaster & B&B Editor are preparing prototypes.
  5. Purchase external CD/DVD burner & external hard drive: Tom Lembke purchased the burner and liked it so much that he kept it for his own use and never submitted a receipt.  Doc asked the SIG to purchase another one.
  6. Alternative uses of Center: Doc has not advertised a Socrates Cafe yet.  We'll start it up in the fall.
  7. SIG Windows: George has been painting the foam boards so that they may be used for decoration.  We'll let members know they're available.

IV. New Business

  1. Re-Stocking the Resource Center (Doc): We're going to look into getting a water cooler and a soda vending machine - among other solutions
  2. Cleaning floor tiles (Doc): Doc suggested that we rent a floor buffer, but Frank thinks we can do without.
  3. How can we reward our volunteers? (Doc): We're going to consider ways that we can reward our volunteers.
  4. Web 2.0 initiative (Doc): Doc intends to start promoting awareness of Web 2.0 applications within the club.  He thinks it's an important evolution in web usage that we can promote to our members.
