  1. Resource Center: Air conditioning, front door, & light outside clinic door are still undone.  Lynne is going to draft a letter to the landlord to try once again to get them to help.
  2. Committees: Looking for: Publicity Chairman.  Beverly Asselin told Millie that she would check the little local papers.  Lynne submitted to the Clearwater Times.  Doc will ask Del Bower.
  3. Seminars: Training slowing down now, but we've had a busy Spring.
  4. Website Updates: MySpace, Webmaster, & B&B Editor.
  5. RAK: February 15th at the Palm Harbor Library went off without a hitch or glitch.  We didn't have any no-shows and we were able to improve ALL computers.
  6. FACUG Conference: Ron Kalmin, Carol King, Jim Boynton, William McKenney, & Dave Dockery attended.  Doc asked BoD to approve an extra $50 for both Carol King & Jim Boynton because they did not have roommates at the conference. Y=7, N=0
  7. Moving money to higher interest accounts: We voted (Y=7, N=0) to move to Wachovia: $10k for a 7-month CD and $10k for a 24-month step-rate CD.  We’ll move the rest to an interest-bearing checking account.
  8. Purchase external CD/DVD burner & external hard drive: Tom Lembke was given permission to purchase.
  9. Alternative uses of Center: Doc wants to start a Socrates Cafe at the Resource Center, but we're only lukewarm to the idea at the moment.  We've taken no action

IV. New Business

  1. Seniors' Conference support: The St. Petersburg Computer Conference is having major problems getting attendees.  Doc asked the Board to provide $300 to provide admission for 20 TBCS members.  Y=6, N=0, 1 abstention.
