Consumer Reports Search on "spam" at the top of the page.  They have several well-written articles available about spam.

howstuffworks.com I'm not interested in promoting war, but as I watch it being waged, I hear references to all sorts of military technology.  If you're trying to understand how that technology works, several pages at this site provide relevant background information.

The Hunger Site about 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes.  This special program is helping to feed hungry people all over the world.  Please bookmark the site, visit it once a day, and press the "Give Free Food" button.  It doesn't cost you anything.  Corporate sponsors send a serving of food to a starving person every time someone presses the button.

The Molecular Genealogy Research Project Their main purpose is to create a database that will allow people to enhance and extend their genealogical research through the use of genetics.  They will harvest the DNA (via a mouth swab) of volunteers who have done their genealogical chart to include in their database.
