Doc's Place Friday morning 10-noon
Chuck Oppermann is going to join me this Friday for
"Browser Wars 2.0". We're going to compare Internet Explorer,
Firefox, Google Chrome, etc. Plus we have some surprises.
Chuck worked on Internet Explorer
during his tenure at Microsoft. You will hear information at this
one that you won't be able to get anywhere else.

WEDU: Thursday, August 6th, 7-10:30pm
WEDU has asked us to
help them raise funds again next month. This is an easy and fun job,
AND they feed us pizzas, chips, cookies, and sodas (just what a diabetic
crowd needs, eh?). Seriously, we have a great time, and it's a great
way to pay WEDU back for all of the good they bring to our community.
I have several volunteers, but still looking for more.
Please send an
email to the Club Secretary if
you'd like to join us. We'll arrange car pools for this junket.

Our
Random Acts of Kindness day on Friday, September 11th
I've been horrible about advertising our upcoming Kindness day in
September. Sorry for that. I'll get with the program.
I will put up a wiki in the coming week to keep everyone better
informed about what is going on. For the moment, please set aside
the day to come and join us. Soon I'll post the movie and
discussion schedule for the day (also on the wiki).
We are opening up our clinic on that day to NON-TBCS members.
If you know someone who needs help with their computer, please encourage
them to register and then bring it in. I need the following info
