SBI SIG is spinning off a new Block Builder SIG!
SBI (Site Build It) is a commercial web-hosting business that helps people to build websites that generate income.  Rich Hart & Carl Hahn lead this popular SIG that meets twice a month (1st & 3rd Sundays).

SBI uses an application called "Block Builder".  Carl Hahn is creating a Block Builder SIG to help our members develop proficiency with this tool.  He will use our Lab computers for hands-on training, and he will provide additional help with uploading audio & video, graphics help, FTP, and Photoshop Elements.

Meetings will be held on the 4th Sunday of each month from 1-3pm.  Their kickoff meeting will be on June 28th at the Resource Center.

-----

New Media at TBCS
The first meeting of our New Media SIG had a great kickoff this past weekend.  I wasn't sure if we would have a good turnout, but we had almost 40 people there.  From now on, I will broadcast our meetings so that a larger audience can attend.

I've also made another change for the future: instead of discussing a single subject at each meeting, we will split the session between 2 subjects.  Our next meeting will be on June 27th, from 2-4pm at the Resource Center.  Our topics for the week will be Twitter & Wikis.
