"Twiddling About With Twitter" by
Chuck Vroman & Doc
This Tuesday night at the Largo Cultural Center
Twitter is quite a phenomenon. Chuck and I
will present a primer on just what you can do with this "new media"
application.
TBCS Goes Online with Microsoft Live
Meeting this week!
We will broadcast 3 events live this week:
 | Tue night from 6:30-9pm at the Largo Cultural
Center |
 | Wed morning from 10am-noon for the DV SIG (Tom
Lembke will be joining us remotely) |
 | Fri morning from 10am-noon for Doc's Place |
You will need to install Microsoft Live Meeting in order
to join us. It's a free download, and it's very easy to install
and use. I will be sending out the information you need to connect
to our shows tomorrow.
Note: I'm leaving the links to our UStream video below.
We don't yet know WHAT will happen, however, when we try to broadcast
via UStream and Live Meeting at the same time. We will be testing
and tweaking on Wed & Fri morning. See you on the web.
"New Media" is coming to TBCS
I will start a New Media SIG on Saturday, June
13th from 1-3pm at the Resource Center. This SIG will meet TWICE a
month (2nd & 4th Saturdays), and will be open to non-TBCS members.
Many small companies and nonprofits can benefit from this SIG.
I'll be providing more info as we go. What is "New Media"?
If you're interested, use a search engine to find out.
