1) General Interest

Thanks for those who offered HELP...
Recently, I asked for some help for a Vietnam vet who will soon die from cancer.  The outpouring of help from TBCS members and others in our community was very generous.  Thank you for showing caring and compassion to help ease his transition.

3) SIG Stuff

Our SIGs (Special Interest Groups) all meet at our Resource Center
(map: http://www.tampa-bay.org/maps.htm).
All of our SIGs are free to our members.

SIGs are a great place to get more personalized attention, and get your questions answered. The following SIGs will meet this week:

Monday, April 27, 7-9pm
Publishing Software SIG. Led by Stacy Lloyd
Part of our program for Monday night's meeting will be about InDesign in conjunction with PhotoShop.  I have a project that PhotoShop alone could do (with some difficulty but it works so much easier and quicker with InDesign).  I have set up a program showing the difference.

This will be the last meeting for the summer months.  We will resume our meetings on September 28, 2009.  This will be the last chance to bring exhibits, projects, questions, comments, explanations, complaints, helpful suggestions, etc. until then.  We do appreciate all of the above at our meetings.  Each question or comment may bring up more questions and possible answers and makes the meetings more fun as well as a better learning experience.  Stacy
