Please bring your cartridges to the Resource Center or to the Cultural Center the night of the monthly meeting.

We also recycle your cell phones & chargers!
We give them to a group that puts them back in circulation as 911 help for seniors (through county services).  If you donate a cell phone, please remember to bring the accompanying charger.  Please put ALL components in a plastic bag to save confusion as to which parts go to which phone.

1) General Interest

I'm sorry to report...
Nathan Richardson, one of the 4 young men that perished in the tragic auto accident last week in Seminole, was the grandson of TBCS members Jack and Carolyn Marscher.  I know that I speak for all when I say how profoundly sorry we are for your loss.

-----

This week, April 19–25, is National Volunteer Week
The theme for National Volunteer Week is "Celebrating People in Action."  "The theme captures the meaning behind this signature week – honoring the individuals who dedicate themselves to taking action and solving problems in their communities.  Here is an opportunity for individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and government entities alike to celebrate the ordinary people who accomplish extraordinary things through service."

Thanks to our many volunteers at TBCS.  There are so many who contribute so much to the success of our club.  Please remember that. "Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless but because they're priceless."

Doc's Café Wednesday 7-9pm
I won't be trying a "Puzzle Night" again at the cafe -- only about 6 people showed up.  We will return to form this Wednesday night.  We're going to talk about "freedom of choice".  Should we assume that the more options available, the happier we will tend to be?  I have an interesting movie to watch; followed by another lively discussion.  This is open to anyone so you may bring your friends and neighbors.  Doc's Cafe takes place at our Resource Center.

Doc's Place Live, Friday morning 10am-noon
Email tips & tricks are on the agenda this week.  I will show a variety of ways to make email more useful and easier to handle.  Please bring your email questions this week, and I'll do my best to give you the straight skinny.  This is open to anyone so you may bring your friends and neighbors.  Doc's Cafe takes place at our Resource Center, OR you may watch it live by going to:
