1) General Interest

Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day!

Pangea Day Last Saturday

I'm sooo sorry that I didn't schedule this sooner so that more people could take advantage of it.  Over 30 of us shared a great afternoon watching this event in the SIG room.  While it was thrown together at the last minute, Suzanne Gregoire, Gina & Aldo Lovosolo, Marianne Ryan, Carol King, and Pat Doubleday all helped out and made it comfortable for us.  Several people brought covered dishes and desserts.  I'm sure I've forgotten others, but thanks to all.  The show was excellent!  You can watch the films and more at their website:

WinXP Service Pack 3 (SP3) is having some problems
I would recommend that you do not install it until the situaltion stabilizes.  Too many people have reprted serious problems with this update.  Unfortunately, if you have Automatic Updates turned on (which so many of us recommend), it gets installed automatically as a Critical Update.  You may want to consider turning off automatic updates (look at the Security Control Panel).

We are going to host a Microsoft Launch party next month!

On Tuesday night, June 3rd from 7 to 9pm we will host a launch of 3 Microsoft products.  Details soon to follow.
