1st meeting on February 28th Led by Stew Bottorf
this meeting is a
welcome/planning meeting. We'll explain the FOSS (Free & Open Source
Software) concept where we can legally download high quality free
software. I'll demo my computer showing off PCLinux2007 (in place of
Windows), Open Office (a very good alternative to Microsoft Office) and
show how to download and burn ISO installation CD/DVD. I have a nice $40
book entitled "Live Linux CD's" to award as a door prize.
