Saturday, October 27th, 9am-2pm: Open House & RAK Clinic
We're going to show off our new A/V Studio.  Meanwhile, our crew of techs will be fixing computers at our Random Acts of Kindness Computer Clinic.  We will also be showing videos throughout the day, our SIG leaders and classroom instructors will be showcasing their contributions, and we'll have some instructors willing to give hands-on training in our Computer Lab.

You would think all of that would be more than enough, wouldn't you?  BUT, we're going to FEED you also.  What a deal!  While several volunteer jobs are already filled, we can always use a few more for this event.  We generally have over 150 members and guests attend these events - it's a fun day.  Yes, you may bring your neighbors and friends.  Another good opportunity for you to extend your membership by sponsoring members.

If you want to bring a computer to our clinic, you MUST register.  I'm not quite ready to accept registrations yet.  Later this week, I'll send another email with the address of the webpage required to register.

If you would like to volunteer (or if you have questions), please send an email to the Club Secretary.

Proposed Field Trip for a Computer Build Seminar

Roger Leer has had several requests for info on building your own PCs from TBCS members.  He is willing to arrange for a 2-hour weekday field trip to a local PC parts supplier.  This interesting and worthwhile project is too long to describe here, but if you are interested, please send an email to the Club Secretary, and we'll put you in touch with Roger.

Please do not confuse Jan's Scrapbooking CLASS which costs $10 with her Scrapbooking SIG which is FREE.
