Bill De Lucia is heading North!
This will be Bill's last week leading the very popular
Novice SIG. If you've been a fan of Bills, please drop by this
Tuesday to say, "Goodbye". He'll be returning to us in October.
Doc will be filling in for awhile...
I am looking, once again, for someone to take over this
SIG until Bill's return. HOWEVER, starting on next Tuesday (May 8th)
and continuing for a few weeks, I am going to be teaching "Windows From
the Ground Up" in the same time slot.
Many of you already know how strong a believer I am that
having a good grounding of fundamental Windows skills makes an enormous
difference in your experience and usage of a computer.
I'm currently writing a book on basic Windows, and would
love to lay this material out for a live audience and get their feedback.
While I'm going to start at the very beginning, I expect to cover some
more advanced tips also. Come on out and join me for the next few
Tuesday afternoons to take a close look at Windows basics.

Story 3 (Hands-On) by Jan McNulty
4
hours (2
two-hour sessions) 10am - noon $20
2 Mondays: 4/30 & 5/7 - You MUST register for this class.
Photo Story 3 is
the FREE software that comes from Microsoft that helps you to build movies
from your photos. We had a Photo Story 3 contest several months ago.
Many of you asked afterwards if we would have classes again. Photo Story
software helps you to build photo albums with transitions, movement,
narration, and music. Not only can you get very professional looking
results, but the software is really very easy to use.
