1) General Interest

All Day Computer Conference - THIS SATURDAY!

Have I got a deal for you...  TBCS is helping to support this worthwhile endeavor.  Not only are both Chuck Vroman and Dave Dockery speaking at the conference, not only will TBCS have a membership recruitment table there, BUT we have arranged for a free gift for all of our members who attend.  Sounds pretty good doesn't it?

It gets better!  We will pay the $15 registration fee for the first 20 members who email their reservations to the Club Secretary.  Details will be found under Educational Opportunities below.

Monthly Meeting this Tuesday night at the Largo Cultural Center

Monica Schmitt and her brother, Joe, did their iPod & iTunes seminar a few months ago at our Resource Center.  The audience enjoyed it so much that they asked us if we could get them to repeat it for a monthly meeting and they agreed to return.

Initially, I was concerned that the audience might be too limited for this - hey, I don't have an iPod myself.  However, it's instructive to learn how to store data with a utility like iTunes (which is free), and how to download music.  You might be surprised at what you will learn from their presentation.

Bonus: Many of you attend the pre-meeting meeting.  Bill De Lucia will provide answers to your questions, AND Doc will show you how to configure Google to provide a variety of free and useful utilities.
