TBCS Classes
Photo Story 3 (hands-on) class with Jan McNulty THIS WEEK!
Classes by Jim Boynton: Digital Camera, Picasa, & CD Burning
A NEW
Photoshop Elements by Stan Ashbrook
Microsoft Movie Maker by Jan McNulty
NEW!

We had a great turnout of both TBCS
members and those with broken computers at the Palm Harbor Library
last week for our Random Acts of Kindness computer clinic. I think
this was the first time that we didn't have a single computer that was DOA
(Dead On Arrival). We were able to fix all that showed up.
Thanks to all of those who contributed.
We've added another Photoshop
Elements class by Stan Ashbrook, AND a brand spankin' new class
on Microsoft Movie Maker that will be taught by Jan McNulty.
Please see below for details.
The Palm Harbor Library is
unavailable on Monday for Doc's normal meeting. Please don't make
the trip. The schedule returns to normal for the rest of the year.
We have a lot of members who have
digital cameras these days. Please bring 'em with you to the
Largo Cultural Center on Tuesday night and snap a few pix. While
I don't have a place to publish them at the moment (because our website is
being revamped) but we will. Please email them to the
Club Secretary.
June Hollister has added another
FREE night to her schedule of classes. June likes to
supplement her schedule with a question & answer night so that her
students can get more info. This is not only free, but it is open to
anyone who wants to attend. It will take place on Wednesday
night, February 28th, from 7 to 9pm at the Resource Center.
Please join us and see what all the excitement is about.
Thanks,
Doc

Story 3 is the FREE software that comes from Microsoft that helps you to
build movies from your photos. We had a Photo Story 3 contest
several months ago. Many of you asked afterwards if we would have
classes again. Photo Story software helps you to build photo albums
with transitions, movement, narration, and music. Not only can you
get very professional looking results, but the software is really very
easy to use.

long, and each class costs $10. None of them are "Hands-On"
