1) We've Got New Toys!

The TBCS Board of Directors recently decided to purchase some new wireless mikes and a new projector.  The display on our current projector has been deteriorating for some time now and, while we've tried to make do with the wireless mikes that we own, they've let us down too many times.

We didn't expect the new equipment to arrive in time for this month's General Meeting, but they all rolled in time to debut them last Tuesday night.  Wow!  Were we pleased!  I am happy to report that the sound from our new microphones was static-free and crystal clear.  The projector image was also static-free and crystal clear.

Improvements in the technology have made it possible for the newer breed of projectors to produce a clearer, sharper image.  The new projector also has more features than the old one, and it does all of this at a greatly reduced price.

Thanks to all of the fine folks who contributed their efforts to ensure that our presenters can be seen and heard.  While several people facilitated in a variety of ways, Dale Atchison purchased the microphones and Stan Ashbrook did most of the research for the projector.

2) Want to View a 360 Degree Photo of Our Meeting?

Our guest speaker this month was Ron Dupont Jr.  He set up his IPIX camera and took a photo of the whole group.  You may download it and see yourselves.  The file that you will download is a self-contained executable file.  I want to assure you that it's safe and virus-free.  It's very easy to download and view so give it a try.

Please go to http://tampa-bay.org/#download for simple instructions and the proper download link.
