1) Open House & Computer Clinic - This coming Saturday!

Note: No need to re-read this item if you read it last week.

It's time for us to open up the Resource Center for another Open House AND Random Acts of Kindness Computer Clinic.  The day is Saturday, March 8th.  The Open House will take place all day: 9am until 5pm.  We are only taking registrations for the computer clinic, however, from 10am until 2pm.

We'll be serving coffee, doughnuts, hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn, and it's all on the house.  Do you have some computer questions?  Stop by our Hands-On Computer Training Lab and we'll see if we can help you out.

There is no need to register in order to attend the Open House.  Please feel free to bring your friends and neighbors.  You could win a nice prize for bringing guests... details

Random Acts of Kindness Computer Clinic
Free to TBCS Members AND Their Guests!

From 10am to 2pm we will be performing another Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Computer Clinic for our members and their guests.   Here's a good time to bring your friends and neighbors down to the Resource Center and get their computers all tidied up and humming by our RAK troubleshooters.

While we're happy to work on computers for free, you MUST register in advance for this service (we spend time troubleshooting your computers in advance of the event).  Please go to:
www.synergypublishing.com and click on the "Register Me" hyperlink near the top of the page.

We hold these clinics to promote the concept of performing random acts of kindness for others.  It's not the "size" of the kindness that you perform for someone that's important; it's the giving of yourself that makes a difference.  I happen to believe that "kindness is catching".

2) Computer Chat Live at Tri-City Plaza 4-6 pm Today

Join Roger & Doc today for their live broadcast of Computer Chat at Computer Renaissance (located in the Tri-City Plaza, at the intersection of East Bay & US 19).

TBCS members are getting the first word on freebies and specials that will be available only while we're on the air.  Great prices on used computers and monitors ($39.95 for a 15" monitor!), and we have lots of freebies to pass out.

Not only are there bargains while we're on the air, but Computer Renaissance has a referral program with TBCS members.  TBCS members can get a 10% discount on a complete system, excluding custom rebuilds, if they present a current and valid TBCS membership card at the time of purchase. The price for a system can be as low as $199, and all hardware comes with a 1-year guarantee.  Your purchases also benefit TBCS.  For every purchase by one of our members, TBCS earns $20.

6) Warning: Someone's Hijacking eBay Accounts.
